A Regional Clinic Manager (RCM) provides leadership, communication, and guidance to all physicians, mid-level providers, clinic team leaders, and staff in their assigned clinics while promoting the values and mission statement of Forefront Dermatology. Accountable for cultivating clinic leadership, leading operational excellence, and delivering a patient experience that results in the highest levels of patient satisfaction and retention. Accountable for clinic level economic profitability and growth by monitoring and analyzing financial performance reports on individual physicians and mid-level providers and at the clinic level as a wholeAct as the primary communication liaison between Support Services and clinics including but not limited to corporate policy and procedural changes as well as clinic operational protocols, Responsible for clinic staffing functions, working with the Human Resources department on candidate selection and interviewing, performance evaluations, and discipline and development. Effectively oversee multiple clinics (range will vary depending on the number of clinicians, staff, and size) via a combination of on-site and remote management, requiring travel. Areas to cover would include but not be limited to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Glen Allen, Richmond and Lynchburg Va for a total of approximatley 15+clinics.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for cultivating clinic leadership, leading operational excellence, and delivering a patient experience that results in the highest levels of patient satisfaction and retention
- Analyze trends in revenue, productivity, appointments, work days and patient flow to maximize practice growth and provider performance. Oversee practitioner and staff schedules to manage time off in order to maximize patient access while also managing practice expenses to maintain practice profitability.
- Develop strategies and set goals to allow assigned clinics and markets to grow as rapidly and profitably as possible to meet future vision while considering parameters imposed by fiscal responsibility, legislative restrictions, and the availability of human, physical and financial resources.
- Accountable and responsible for clinic retention including practitioners and all staff. Partners with Talent, Human Resources, and Regional Managers to measure and develop tactical and strategic plans to support retention goals.
- Support Operations leadership (Senior Director, VP and COO) on an ongoing basis to drive market performance and physician relationship building.
- Promotes team building and collaboration. Motivates, encourages and empowers staff to achieve personal, organizational and team goals. Recognizes accomplishment, encourages and provides opportunity for staff input and feedback regarding improvement opportunities.
- Identifies global processes to improve overall performance of assigned territory and defines innovative measurements of performance standards to integrate corporate strategies.
- Actively responds to urgent site issues and may be asked to spend time onsite to stabilize for as long as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- Successful completion of a medical support field such as Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN, with preference given to BSN.
Experience & Requirements
- Two years of work experience in dermatology or five years of related work experience or demonstrated excellent team leader experience with Forefront Dermatology or commensurate experience in any related health care setting.
- Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations Valid Driver License and driving record that allows for insurabilityFamiliarity with computers and healthcare software:
- Electronic Medical Record systemsPatient scheduling programs Microsoft Office ® Suite; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
